  Douglas W. Regalia, CPA, Partner
Mr. Regalia began his career with Peat Marwick Mitchell & Co. (now KPMG Peat Marwick) in 1980 and worked for seven years in the Oakland and Walnut Creek offices.  He left as Senior Audit Manager in November 1987 to work for Duffel Financial & Construction Company as Vice President - Finance and Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Regalia founded the firm of Regalia & Associates in 1990. He graduated summa cum laude from California State University, Hayward, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.  Mr. Regalia was active in KPMG’s recruiting efforts, helped teach local in-office training seminars and was the Senior Audit Manager on several of the firm’s larger bank and nonprofit audit engagements.

Mr. Regalia is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California State Society of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Regalia resides in the East Bay with his wife and four children.
  Dana Chavarria, CPA, Senior Tax Manager
Ms. Chavarria joined Regalia & Associates in 1999 after an extensive career with the California State Board of Equalization and other local CPA firms.  Her background in both auditing and income tax preparation enables her to tackle a wide variety of issues for all of our clients.

In addition to handling some of the Firm's audit engagements, Ms. Chavarria works with many of our clients by providing tax preparation services to individuals, partnerships, trusts, estates and corporations.  Ms. Chavarria graduated from San Francisco State University in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting.  She has been an active volunteer in the community, sitting on the boards of local educational organizations (including the San Ramon Valley Education Foundation).

Ms. Chavarria holds a California CPA license and continues her professional education (primarily in the areas of auditing and accounting) through courses with the California State Society of Certified Public Accountants.  Ms. Chavarria resides in the East Bay with her husband and three children.
  Marianne Ryan, Senior Auditor
Ms. Ryan has an extensive background and career in the financial institution industry.  Prior to joining Regalia & Associates in 2000, Ms. Ryan worked for over 10 years as a vice president in retail lending for various banks and savings and loans.  Her industry experience provides her with an appreciation for the “real world” challenges which many of our clients face on a daily basis, and enables her to assist clients with understanding complex banking transactions.

Ms. Ryan is responsible for coordinating all aspects of the Firm's audit engagements.  Additionally, she provides accounting support for several clients who need assistance with Quickbooks and other accounting programs.  She graduated cum laude from the University of California, Berkeley with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.

Ms. Ryan resides in the East Bay with her husband and two children.  She is active in the local community with local schools and is the treasurer for a community swim club association.
  Tricia Wilson, Audit and Accounting
Ms. Wilson joined Regalia & Associates in 2007 after working in the accounting and construction industries for many years.  She has an extensive background in providing clients with timely and professional accounting services.

Ms. Wilson graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from San Diego State University in 1984 with a Major in Accounting. She is responsible for the completion of fieldwork on many of the Firm's audit engagements and typically works with Ms. Ryan on many of the firm's audit engagements.  Ms. Wilson also provides ongoing accounting and consulting support for some of the Firm’s clients who need assistance with ongoing accounting and operational matters.

Ms. Wilson resides in the East Bay with her husband and three children and is actively involved as a volunteer board member for local school associations and neighborhood club groups.
  Janice Taylor, CPA, Tax and Audit
Ms. Taylor began her career with Coopers & Lybrand (now Price Waterhouse Coopers) in 1983 and worked in the audit department serving clients in the investment advisory, construction and SEC industries.  She then went into private industry and worked as a controller and then as an accounting standards manager for a large investment advisory firm.

Since joining Regalia & Associates in 2007, Ms. Taylor has focused on providing individual and corporate tax preparation services to clients.  She is also responsible for handling some of the Firm's audit engagements.  Ms. Taylor graduated summa cum laude from San Francisco State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.  She holds a California CPA license and Series 7 and Series 27 licenses with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA - formerly NASD).

Ms. Taylor is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California State Society of Certified Public Accountants and resides in the East Bay with her husband and three children.
